A build-to-rent scheme by SB Homes, with 21 apartments to rent on long-term tenancies. Applications now being taken.


SB Homes is helping to revolutionise the local housing market. We are creating a scheme of 21 apartments, which are being designed for lifetime renting. They are due to be ready in late 2020. 

The aim of Station House is to create a community of high-quality homes, with accessibility and affordability at its heart.

This innovative approach will create a sense of place for those living there, aimed at mature residents and people with accessiblity requirements. 

Being built at Marsden's former fire station, the 111 year old building is set to be brought back to life, with the frontage of the former fire station being retained. They will be crafted from Yorkshire stone and will be sympathetic to the area, while offering an architectural appeal.

It's the second project of its kind that SB Homes has developed. In 2008, we built the social housing scheme, Ancion Court in Marsden, before selling it to Connect Housing.
